ClubLadderReporting Results and ELO
After a match has been accepted and played, the result can be entered from the match details screen.
Entering a Result
To find the result form, open your club, go to the ladder for the match, and select your team. On the team page, the current match is shown near the top. On match day, team members will see a Submit result button in that match banner. Pressing it opens the form where you can enter the score.
Choose the winning team and enter the final set score. The app accepts normal tennis set scores such as 6-0, 6-4, 7-5, and 7-6. The winning team must match the higher score.
When you submit a result:
- your team is marked as confirmed
- the other team receives a notification
- the match waits for the other team to confirm or dispute the result
Confirming or Disputing
If the other team agrees with the submitted score, they can confirm it. The match is then finished and the ELO ratings are updated.
If the other team disagrees, they can dispute the result and optionally add a reason. Club admins are notified and can enter the final result. ELO is not updated while a result is disputed.
If the other team does not respond, the result is automatically confirmed after the configured waiting period.
ELO Ratings
Each team has an ELO rating in every ladder. Winning against a stronger team gives a larger rating gain than winning against a weaker team. Losing against a stronger team usually costs fewer points than losing against a weaker team.
The leaderboard shows teams ordered by their current rating. Finished matches can also show the rating change for each team.
